The Head Referee is responsible for overseeing scheduling, training, and ongoing skills development of the PTSL referees.

• Oversee pre-season referee training

• Perform observation/evaluation of referees on a monthly basis

• Provide feedback on performance and work with referees to identify areas for growth and support them in those areas

• Work with the Referee Coordinator to recruit referees from within the league and outside the league as needed

• Maintain the refereeing schedule, with a goal of getting referees the experience needed to hone their skills

• Keep track of refereeing hours for honorariam

• May not serve as a Team Rep or on the Collective. Preference is that Head Referee does not play in PTSL while serving as the Head Referee.
